Nervous and anxious for the consultation as I needed a solution for my foot to be better and get on with my normal life and I'm not a fan of needles or surgery. The office visit went very well, and Dr. Sarah Sykes was very friendly and helpful to explain what was going on with my foot, neuroma. I was pleased with not needing surgery as I was expecting, even though she did suggest the shot in my foot that pretty much sent my nervous system into high gear. I tried to tell her I wasn't prepared because I usually have to get notice for shots and bring someone, but she offered up her medical assistant Eric who graciously held my hand. It all went smoothly, and I felt just a little pressure during the procedure and Dr. Sykes talked me through the procedure the whole time. As of three weeks later, all is going great! Her diagnosis that the shot was the best treatment to kill the neuroma was so much better than having surgery. I was not down for any time, the only thing I had to do was not do any cardio at the gym for a few days. I highly recommend Dr. Sarah Sykes, she is so sweet and friendly, and she is a doctor that will try to help you find the best solution for YOU.
